The Hiker’s Haven, Broose Lodge and Bear’s Den are located and adjoined to the south end of the central district of the Shenandoah National Park.
The Eastern Shore Victorian is near the NASA Wallops Island Facility and the Chincoteague/Assateague National Wildlife Refuge and Assateague Island National Seashore. The Atlantic Ocean is on one side and the Chesapeake Bay on the other.

Please note: moutain top properties do not have shopping centers. Typically, everyone wants to live where they can commune with wildlife, and have glorious views - until they realize that the supermarket is not a block away. Or, if they encounter wildlife, they panic. The location and wildlife will not change, which is why we ask prospective tenants or purchasers to do a drive-by, before we schedule an in-person tour.
